SOD cDNA encodes the superoxide dismutase 1 (sequence from human genome, NM_000454.4/CCDS 33536.1, 465 pb). This metalloproteinase is responsible for the dismutation of superoxides and contribute to the protection from oxidative damages.
Examples of Applications
- Use in vitro or in vivo to study oxidative stress mechanisms
- Use for apoptosis related studies
- Use in the study of ALS
- Use with Lenti-ONE GPX
