Lenti-ONE GFP

APPLICATIONS

TRANSGENES

Lenti-ONE GFP

Lenti-ONE GFP carries the transgene green fluorescent protein. Its expression can be assessed by fluorescent microscopy or by flow cytometry, thus giving valuable informations about the transduction efficiency of the vector.

Lenti-ONE GFP

DESCRIPTION

This reporter protein is available in three variations:

  • eGFP is the most commonly used. It is the enhanced version of the sequence from Aequorea victoria genome, AAB02574.1.

  • tGFP for turbo GFP. This improved variant of the GFP is expected to drive a stronger expression of the protein.

  • hrGFPII-1 is a humanized recombinant green fluorescent protein (sequence from Renilla reniformis genome). It is especially suitable for use on human cell lines.

EXAMPLES OF APPLICATIONS

  • Use in vitroin vivo as a control with another vector

  • Use to set up experimental conditions

RESULTS

Influence of promoter on transgene expression

Influence of the target cell type on the number of transduced cells with three Lenti-ONE eGFP. Expression is driven by three ubiquitous promoters (CMV, PGK or Ubiquitin). Note that:

  • for a given promoter, the number of transduced cells depends on the target cell type
  • the most efficient promoter depends on the target cell type
Influence of promoter on transgene expression

Influence of the target cell type on the transgene expression level per cell with three Lenti-ONE eGFP. Expression is driven by three ubiquitous promoters (CMV, PGK or Ubiquitin). Note that:

  • for a given promoter, the transgene expression level depends on the target cell type
  • the most efficient promoter depends on the target cell type
